Nmblr Scout Step 6: Insights

Purpose of this step: Insights come from deltas and tensions—this is where non-obvious opportunities hide.

Facilitate it

  1. Encourage the team to reflect on the observations.
  2. Generate hypotheses: Brainstorm ideas around the deltas and tensions
    • Outcome trade-offs
    • Stakeholder misalignment
    • Evidence gaps
    • Workflow friction
    • Sub-group pockets of strength
    • Timing asymmetry (soon vs. later advantage)
  3. Finalise actionable insights
  • To help prioritize/finalise. Ask for each hypothesis: what choice might this change for us?
    Consider these ‘choice’ buckets:
    • Where to play: segment, line of therapy, subtype, site of care
    • How to win: eg clinical outcomes, QoL, stakeholder certainty, convenience, economics
    • Capability bets: biomarker, RWE engine, device/platform, access model, manufacturing
    • Build / buy / partner: quickest path to capability or proof Nmblr Scout
    • Sequencing: what now vs later (option value) Nmblr Scout

Assessment checklist

  • Could each insight change a real choice (not just a commentary)?

Supporting evidence

  • Attach the few key observations that justify the insight (so the output holds up in decision forums).
